Overview

Morocco has a way of feeling like several different countries stitched into one, and this eight-day route is built to show you exactly that. You'll start in Casablanca, move through the political calm of Rabat, the port-city energy of Tangier, the impossibly blue streets of Chefchaouen, the medieval maze of Fez, and finally Marrakech — the Pearl of the South — before looping back to Casablanca for departure. It's a private tour from start to finish, with your own guide and driver, so the pace is yours to set within each day's plan.

Along the way you'll pass through the Middle Atlas mountains, stop in a cedar-forest town that doubles as Morocco's winter sports hub, and spend real time in souks, palaces, and medinas that have barely changed in centuries. This is the kind of trip where the drive between cities is often as memorable as the cities themselves.

Highlights
What makes this tour special
  • Chefchaouen's Blue Pearl — wander streets painted in every shade of blue, a shopping and photography favourite rolled into one
  • Fez's medieval Medina — the Attarine and Bou Inania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, and the Karaouine mosque, all within a city considered Morocco's spiritual capital
  • Marrakech's souks & Djemaa El Fna — handicrafts, colour, and nonstop entertainment in one of the most atmospheric squares anywhere
  • Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca — one of the largest mosques in the world, right on the Atlantic coast
  • Ifrane — a small cedar-forest mountain town that looks almost more Alpine than Moroccan
  • Kasbah of Tangier — old palace grounds above the harbour, with prehistoric and ancient remains scattered nearby
  • Private guide & driver throughout — no fixed group schedule, no rushing between stops

Day 3

Tangier — Chefchaouen — Fez

Fez

From there, head to Chefchaouen, well known for handicrafts you won't easily find elsewhere in Morocco — wool garments, woven blankets, and the local goat cheese are all popular with visitors. Continue on to Fez for the overnight. Overnight: Fez
